It must be MORE than a sign, it needs to be the presence of true hospitality. It is something we want everyone to experience when they come to The Church of the Good Shepherd...especially those who are visitors in our new sanctuary!
YOU (individually or as a couple) can play an integral part in welcoming those who attend worship on Sunday Mornings by greeting at the main entrances.
What is expected of Greeters?
1) Sign up to help greet worshippers at one of the main entrances on a Sunday morning, AT LEAST once a month or at least a dozen times a year at either the 9:30am hour or 11:00am hour.
2) Arrive at church on the Sundays you sign up AT LEAST 15 minutes early to begin greeting.
3) Greet people and offer to help new visitors locate the information counter (just to the right before you enter the new sanctuary) or other directions they may need (to a S.S. class or nursery).
4) Smile, hold the door, shake hands, that's it!!
